Non-ferrous high frequency current probes have been developed that may be used to measure the radio frequency current that is induced at various parts of the human body. These dosimeters may be used to determine the safety of human exposure to the fields that are produced by transmitters or various industrial devices that use radio frequency energy. This invention has the advantages that (1) it does not perturb the current that is measured, (2) it has a null reading unless there is a current, (3) it may be used to measure the current at various places in the body, and (4) it may be used at frequencies as high as several hundred MHz.
